Step into the universe of Project Diffusion, a space sandbox that blends exploration, combat, and strategy. Drawing inspiration from games like Avorion, Starsector, and Elite Dangerous. It’s an open-ended adventure where your actions influence the universe-wide entity called The Shimmer.

My name is Alex, and I'm the sole developer for Project Diffusion. I've been working on this game as a hobby project during my off hours over the past year. This game is my current passion, and I fully expect to work on this project for many years to come and bring it to the vision that I originally had when building the concept.

Disclaimer

Project Diffusion is currently in Alpha. This is a TRUE alpha. I've tried my best to find bugs, exploits, or crashes. Expect to run across ones that I have not encountered. Additionally, I will be attempting to update Project Diffusion fairly regularly, and as such, I would recommend using the Itch.io launcher application as it will handle downloading updates to the game.
